Dragon’s Dogma 2 Update Details
Game Update, Dragon’s Dogma 2 Update Details Capcom, the developer of Dragon’s Dogma 2, has released an update that includes new setting options, bug fixes, and quality-of-life additions to the in-game storage. In the course of a month, this is also the second update for Dragon’s Dogma 2.
The player’s storage received a major upgrade with the May 31 release of the previous Dragon’s Dogma 2 patch, which increased the maximum limit by three times. With a number of new additions that give players more control over their inventory, the most recent update enhances this specific aspect of the game even more.
Among the various Dragon’s Dogma 2 storage enhancements, the most important one is perhaps the increase in the maximum number of items of one kind that players can store, which has gone up from 99 to 999. Moreover, Dragon’s Dogma 2 players can now sell items or equip armor without leaving the storage menu. Equipping armor from the storage menu also works when the player is in a vocation guild and is changing their vocation. When a player attempts to store items that cross the maximum limit, the game will now adjust to ensure the maximum number of items allowed is automatically retained in storage.
The Japanese developer has updated the settings menu with additional options in addition to changes to the storage menu. Players of the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S can find the toggle to select between high and low quality under the graphics settings. On the console, players can also choose whether to enable or disable 120Hz output. A consistent change across all platforms is the photo mode, which now allows players to remove the protagonist from view for those who wish to take pictures of in-game moments.
In addition, this update contains a number of bug fixes and adjustments that should smooth things over for Dragon’s Dogma 2’s enormous player base. For example, developers have made adjustments to increase the frequency of oxcart sightings in the field. Additionally, they have resolved the problem that prevented some items—like Ring of Predominance—from being obtained. Additionally, a performance issue that caused the framerate to drop when visiting an area with a lot of NPCs has been fixed. The most recent patch notes have a number of additional bug fixes.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 was released back in March to an enthusiastic reception, earning favorable reviews and achieving remarkable sales figures. Luckily, Capcom was experiencing great financial times at the time the action RPG was released, which enabled it to soar to new heights in the history of the company. Dragon’s Dogma 2, which sold millions of copies, went on to rank among the highest-grossing video games on all platforms in the first quarter of 2024.
